London’s biggest festivals and museums have had the DJ & MC Academy on their doorstep spinning the latest grooves whilst offering fantastic outdoor activities for all to take part in.

The DJ & MC Academy is perfect for event organizers to hire for live lunchtime music performances or to accompany outdoor film screenings.

We can provide rapping, beat boxing or DJ master classes plus much more that will have you scratching and mixing music like a pro.

Events start at £500

If you are planning a huge birthday bash and wanted something fresh and innovative look no further than the DJ & MC Academy. Book our team for your event and we will offer a range of master classes and play some great music to get the everybody jumping.

This will involved the birthday boy or girl doing their own mini set that will provide an uplifting atmosphere to leave you all with long lasting memories. We can provide full DJ equipment and lighting with a rapper or musician performing a special happy birthday with a DJ & MC Academy twist to ensure your party is the best on the block!

If you desire, we also have fantastic media team to film your events, take photos and edit the footage.

Many ambitious up and coming artists/musicians who produce their own music need a tried and tested marketing tool to gain a fan base. As part of an an eye catching marketing campaign, you can hire our mobile music centres to go wherever you want in London!

If you have an EP en route or a hot new single, tell your followers and supporters exactly where you are going to be, and generate even more of an audience as people take to you and our vans! Our vans can even be customized and wrapped with your artist/company twitter, logo, or even album artwork!

PA starts from £600

We offer flexible one-to-one and group tuition sessions for adults at a location convenient for you. This includes digital audio software tuition, music production, lyric writing, song form, structure, harmony and theory.

It’s a real hands on approach and these sessions are designed for adults of any level, beginner to the advanced but is not limited to any particular style of music. Our experienced sound engineers, music producers, DJs, musicians and singer/songwriters are easy to get along with and easy to learn from.

Tuition starts from £35 per hour

You can from our extensive network of DJs to mix and blend some rare grooves or stomping chart hits at an event of any kind. The Academy prides itself on its network of friendly and party-starting DJs who can keep the music pumping all day or night.

We are able to provide all the equipment need including CDJs (decks – vinyl or CD), PA systems and lighting.

Starts from just £300

The winter of 2012 saw the Academy launch its very own record label MD Records. Our first signees were artists who had previously engaged with our projects and workshops.

Since then, the three artists have started to gain recognition, with their music supported on national radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1xtra. They’ve also won several local competitions and performed at some of the most iconic venues in London such as Hackney Empire, Jazz Café London, the 606 Club, City Hall, Earls Court and the O2 Arena. We will continue to develop these talented artists throughout their careers as they move on to major record labels and publishers.

In partnership with Enfield Council we have built recording studios where we continue to offer young people training, qualifications and the opportunity to develop their skills further. These young people will become patrons for the Academy and will help to develop our next crop of talented young musicians.

We seek to provide young people with the relevant training they will need for the music industry and business, guiding them each and every step of the way to ensure that they are recognized commensurate to their talent. Through their hard work plus our expertise they can make living career from their passion.
